Saturn has been observed in the night sky since ancient times. First observed with a telescope by Galileo, he initially mistook Saturn's rings for moons. There are two popular hypotheses regarding the origin of the rings. One is that the rings are remnants of a destroyed moon of Saturn. The other hypothesis is that the rings are left over from the original nebular material from which Saturn formed. We think the first theory sounds more fun. Decide for yourself in this Deco inspired ring.... Saturn has been observed in the night sky since ancient times.
